Company selected by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to promote initiatives to become a typical model

Originating from patriotic emulation movements launched by trade unions at all levels, notably the "75 thousand initiatives to overcome difficulties and develop" program, the "1 million initiatives, efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic" program launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, up to now, in Dong Nai province, there have been more and more units and workers directly involved in production who strive to study, improve skills, and contribute many initiatives to bring high value to businesses.

TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Tran Bien Ward) is the first unit in the country selected to open a 40th peak day of response to promote initiatives, creative ideas, apply science and technology, and technical improvements among workers and the leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the company's Trade Union to implement the program "75,000 initiatives overcoming difficulties for development" (March 9, 2021).

Up to now, Mr. Dinh Sy Phuc, Chairman of the Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company, said that the qualifications and skills of union members and workers of the company are increasingly good, many current cadres of the company have risen from workers thanks to their own efforts and the support of the trade union.

According to the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor, the Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company is a typical example in launching emulation movements for production labor. In 2024, this unit recorded more than 20,000 contributions from employees, each month hundreds of initiatives were applied in production and business, benefiting businesses with tens of billions of VND.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tu (37 years old) is the Head of Production Passing Team at TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company. Every year, Mr. Tu has many innovative initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and benefit the business. Notably, Mr. Tu made improvements in the cutting stage of a product code - helping the company save 21,231 USD/month.

Before the improvement, this stage had problems with deviated cutting and waste of time to repair goods. However, Mr. Tu researched replacing another cutting nail with a 1.5 mm nail and helped reduce 6 employees and save money on mortar and burst. Mr. Tu also has an improvement in " knife cutting" to help cut 8 details at once (before improving the design of a single knife), helping to save time, save materials, and save a total of 87,790 USD/month.

In 2024, Dong Nai will have more than 30,000 ideas and more than 2,800 initiatives

According to the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor, in 2024, the "Good workers, creative workers" movements in the enterprise sector had more than 30,000 ideas, more than 2,800 new initiatives and designs that benefited and saved businesses tens of billions of VND.

Mr. Le Huu Cuong, Assistant Head of Technical Department, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam NOK Company Limited in 2024, has 76 innovative ideas for product quality, helping to reduce defective goods, reduce consumption of raw materials, helping businesses save 7.6 billion VND. Ms. Do Thi Thuy Duong, Innovation Director, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Fashion Garment 2 Company Limited, along with a group of initiatives with 1,365 new ideas applied to save businesses over 189,000 USD.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc, an employee of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company, with 2 initiatives to help reduce the risk of occupational accidents and reduce many workers during the production process, saves the company over 600,000 USD and benefits the company over 50,000 USD per month...
