On August 9, the Labor Union of Dong Nai Province organized the Award Ceremony for Outstanding and Model Labor Union Cadres, Workers, 2023-2024.
Attending and directing the award ceremony were Mr. Ho Thanh Son - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, Ms. Thai Thu Xuan - Permanent Deputy Chairwoman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the ceremony, Ms. Thai Thu Xuan congratulated 240 outstanding labor union cadres, workers, who were outstanding and exemplary in 2023.
Permanent Deputy Chairwoman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuan said that 240 outstanding labor union cadres, workers, who were outstanding and exemplary, were shining examples of creative labor spirit, high sense of responsibility, and continuous learning and improvement, contributing to increasing productivity, quality, and efficiency, and introducing many innovations and improvements, contributing to cost savings and increased efficiency.
Permanent Deputy Chairwoman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuan hoped that in the coming time, Dong Nai would continue to strive for more achievements to make the trade union movement truly meaningful and widespread throughout the system, and to have more and more exemplary and outstanding trade union chairmen, cadres, and workers.
Mr. Ho Thanh Son - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee - requested that the trade unions at all levels focus on implementing their functions and tasks, including representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; actively and proactively participating in state management and economic and social management; innovating and strengthening propaganda and mobilization work; and improving the political awareness, knowledge, skills, and work style of union members and workers.
"I hope that the union members and workers who were awarded will strongly promote the spirit of innovation, creativity, and continuous striving to always be worthy of being workers, civil servants, and laborers of the province," Mr. Son emphasized.
At the ceremony, leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, and the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Union awarded the "For the Cause of Building the Vietnam Trade Union" Commemorative Medal to 16 individuals who have made significant contributions to building the Vietnam trade union; awarded the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor's Award for Individuals who have achieved the title of Labor Creative in the patriotic emulation movement in 2023; awarded the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee's Award for Individuals in the emulation movement for labor excellence and creativity in 2024; awarded the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Union's Award for Individuals who are outstanding workers, exemplary trade union chairmen, and exemplary female trade union cadres in 2023-2024.
