At Long Viet Vina Company Limited, the Bac Giang City Labor Federation has just coordinated with the Department of Legal Policy and Labor Relations, the Organizing - Inspection Department of the Bac Giang Provincial Labor Federation to organize a conference to train and foster trade union skills, disseminate labor laws and labor codes to over 200 union officials and workers.
At the conference, union officials and workers listened to Mr. Nguyen Khac Dieu - Deputy Head of the Department of Legal Policy and Labor Relations - convey the content of collective labor agreements, collective dialogue processes, negotiation skills and signing of collective labor agreements; disseminate labor laws, focusing on labor accidents and labor contracts. In particular, it clearly explains the rights that workers enjoy when having a work accident, conditions, procedures, regulations on work accidents on the road, and some provisions directly related to the rights and obligations of workers.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Diep - Deputy Head of Organization and Inspection of the Provincial Labor Union - has disseminated the contents of the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress, the mode of operation of the grassroots trade union, the rights and responsibilities of the grassroots trade union officials; Content, operational methods, conditions to ensure activities for grassroots trade union officials, rights and responsibilities of union members. At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Hong Diep also exchanged and answered the opinions of workers.
The conference helps trade union officials in enterprises perform well the functions and tasks of trade union organizations; helps workers improve their knowledge and understanding of labor law, equip themselves with basic knowledge of the Law on Gender Equality, thereby helping them to protect their legitimate and legal rights and interests, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
