The Ben Thanh Ward Trade Union has coordinated to organize the opening of the "Union Member Welfare" point with the theme "Building Ben Thanh Ward for sustainable, civilized - modern - affectionate development" to attract more than 500 union members and workers to participate in purchasing essential goods at preferential prices from 10% - 30%. The total value of benefits for union members and workers is estimated at about 250 million VND.

The conference also set out targets for the term such as: Striving for at least 95% of employees working in units, organizations, and enterprises in the state sector to be union members; mobilizing 90% of enterprises and public service units with 20 or more employees to establish grassroots unions; at least 60% of enterprises with qualified union organizations according to the provisions of law to be negotiated by trade unions and sign collective labor agreements.
At the same time, implement the "Union member welfare" program, strive to sign a welfare agreement with at least 5 units and enterprises, expand welfare in essential fields to serve union members and workers; strive to build and replicate at least 1 model of "Digital Trade Union - Friendly Trade Union"; build and repair at least 2 "Union Shelters" for union members and workers with difficult housing circumstances.
