The Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LDLD) has just issued a plan to organize "Trade Union New Year's Eve Meal" for union members and workers on the occasion of the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, in order to strengthen the care for the material and spiritual life of workers.
According to the plan, the "Trade Union New Year's Eve Meal" will be organized at 3 locations with the participation of about 900 union members and workers working at businesses in the province. The activity is carried out by the trade union in coordination with employers, ensuring food safety and hygiene and not affecting production.
The first organizing point took place on January 31 at Ty Bach Co., Ltd., Binh Minh Industrial Park. The program is expected to have 300 workers and laborers participate, including 50 cases in particularly difficult circumstances to give Tet gifts.
The second point was held on February 11 at TV Pharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. Here, about 300 union members and workers attended the "Trade Union Year-end Meal", of which 29 workers in difficult circumstances received support gifts.
The third point took place on February 13 at GENNOVA GROUP Co., Ltd., with about 300 union members and workers participating. On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented gifts to 35 workers in difficult circumstances, encouraging workers to feel secure in sticking with the business.
The value of each meal in the "Trade Union New Year's Eve Meal" is at least 70,000 VND, from trade union financial resources and the support of businesses or socialization. Through activities, the Trade Union organization wishes to create a warm and united atmosphere, contributing to helping workers celebrate Tet happily and feel secure in labor and production in the new year.
