According to the plan for Workers' Month 2026, the Provincial Labor Federation organizes 5 new union member classes at enterprises, creating conditions for workers to participate and join the trade union organization. This is considered an important starting step, contributing to promoting union member development in 2026, creating new resources, and consolidating the trade union organization to become stronger and stronger.

Mr. Minh said that becoming a union member helps workers to be cared for and cared for their lives better, and to have their legitimate and lawful rights and interests protected during their work at the enterprise.

Accelerating union member development
Mr. Cao Huu Trong Bac - Chairman of the grassroots trade union of Lefaso Tra Vinh Industrial Investment and Production Joint Stock Company said that in 2026, the unit sets a target of developing 500 new union members, focusing on direct production workers at the enterprise.
According to Mr. Bac, grassroots trade unions will strengthen propaganda and mobilize workers to participate in the organization, and at the same time pay attention to caring for their lives, creating attraction so that workers can feel secure and stick with it for a long time.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation said that trade union levels are focusing on synchronously implementing many solutions to develop union members.
According to Mr. Linh, the trade union promotes propaganda, raising awareness and responsibility of workers in participating in building the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union organization to become stronger and stronger.
Trade union levels also focus resources on union member development, especially in enterprises outside the state sector and the informal labor sector, creating a breakthrough in establishing grassroots trade unions.
In parallel, the "May Union Member Class" admission activities are organized at many businesses such as Ty Xuan Co., Ltd., Ty Bach Co., Ltd. and My Phong Leather Shoe Co., Ltd....
In addition, the trade union coordinates with the Party Committee to organize the admission of "May Party Member Class", contributing to building the core force, discovering and fostering outstanding union members among workers.
The whole province strives to develop an additional 26,000 union members, of which the admission rate at enterprises with trade union organizations reaches 98% or more, aiming for 100% in qualified units," Mr. Linh added.
