Honoring sustainable values
Sharing before the 2026 Glory of Vietnam program, on behalf of officials, employees, and workers of Factory Z111, General Department of National Defense Industry, Colonel Ly Huong Ly expressed her honor and emotion when the unit was honored at the program.
According to Colonel Ly Huong Ly, this is a program of special significance, honoring collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.

Colonel Ly Huong Ly said that the program is a place where ordinary people, collectives silently contributing in many fields are recognized, respected and given more motivation to continue contributing. This is what has created the profound humanistic value and strong spread of Glory of Vietnam over the past 22 years.
For Factory Z111, being honored at Vinh Quang Vietnam 2026 is a great pride. Moreover, this is also a reminder of responsibility to continue to maintain tradition, constantly innovate and rise up.
Behind each title are not only numbers or commendation decisions, but also countless days and nights of hard work of generations of cadres, engineers, and workers. Those are people who always silently contribute with the spirit that every product produced is associated with the combat strength of the Army and the peace of the Fatherland.
Recognition for persistent contributions
Over 70 years of construction and growth, Factory Z111 is one of the core defense industry facilities of the General Department of National Defense Industry, performing the task of researching, producing, repairing, and ensuring weapons and technical equipment for the Army. Throughout the development process, the unit has always focused on applying science and technology, improving productivity and product quality; building a civilized working environment, caring for the lives of workers and actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
Those results have been recognized by the Party, State, Army and levels and sectors with many noble awards. In 2025 alone, Factory Z111 was honored to be awarded the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of National Defense; recognized as a Party Committee that excellently completed its tasks, a comprehensively strong, exemplary, and typical unit.
In particular, the factory was awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the President. This is the third time the unit has been awarded the title of Hero, including: Hero of the People's Armed Forces in 1970 and 2025; Hero of Labor in the renovation period in 2004.
In addition, Factory Z111 was awarded 3 Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of National Defense for outstanding achievements in implementing the emulation movement in the period 2020 - 2025; implementing the Democracy Regulations at the grassroots level in the Army; building militia and self-defense forces, contributing to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.
The unit was also awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for its outstanding achievements in caring for the lives of workers and was awarded the title "Exemplary Enterprise for Workers"; awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for its outstanding achievements in production and business, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
These achievements and noble rewards are not only the pride of the collective of officials, employees, and workers of Factory Z111, but also recognition of the persistent contributions of many generations who have devoted their whole heart to the cause of building Vietnam's defense industry.
We understand that glory is not a destination but a starting point for greater responsibilities. Each award today will be a motivation for Factory Z111 to continue to promote the tradition of a Heroic unit; promote innovation, scientific and technical research, digital transformation; build a team of cadres, engineers, and workers with bravery and qualifications, contributing to building a self-reliant, self-sufficient, self-strengthening, dual-use, modern defense industry, meeting the requirements of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
