On September 13, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Yen Bai province continued to present 250 gifts (including necessities and drinking water) to support families of union members, workers and people affected by storm No. 3 in Hong Ha ward, Yen Bai city.
Previously, Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat, Chairman of the Yen Bai Provincial Labor Federation, and the delegation visited, encouraged, and provided support to the family of Mr. Dang Van Huy (a union member of the Yen Bai Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee) who died due to a landslide; the families of two union members Vang Seo Trang and Vang A Chua who died due to a landslide while working at Benchmark Industries Co., Ltd.; and the couple of union members Vu Duc Ngoc - Ho Thi Dinh (Thai Lung Co., Ltd.) who died due to a landslide.
Sharing the pain and loss of the families and relatives of the union members, Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat sent his deepest condolences and donated 3 million VND to support each family of the deceased union members.
Up to now, the Yen Bai Provincial Labor Federation has had 8 union members and workers die due to landslides caused by the circulation of storm No. 3, of which 4 union members of the Industrial Parks Union alone died.
