AI Claude Upgraded Conversation Memories

QUANG MINH |

Anthropic has just introduced a new storage feature for AI Claude chatbot, allowing references to old conversations when users request.

This helps users continue an unfinished project after a hiatus, or look up details of a previous research session without having to repeat all the information.

Notably, Claude only traces when mentioned, not automatically finds old data. This feature also only works within the working space and project in use, and can be turned off completely in the settings if the user wants it.

Compared to ChatGPT, which has saved the entire conversation since April to personalize feedback, or Google Gemini can recall previous conversations and even experiment with using Google search history to refine answers, Claud has a more limited approach.

In fact, Claud only performs searches in old conversations when required, not building a comprehensive profile about users, thereby having higher security.

According to Anthropic, the new feature is being rolled out to users in the Max, Team and Enterprise packages; and will expand to other packages in the near future.

Claude is an AI chatbot developed by Anthropic, competing directly with OpenAI's ChatGPT. It is designed for chatting, answering questions, supporting writing, summarizing, analyzing data and many other language tasks.
