Expected time to announce the benchmark scores of schools
The 2025 university benchmark score according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training will be announced before 5:00 p.m. on August 22. At this time, many universities have scheduled to announce it earlier.
In the Northern region: Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Economics (Hanoi National University) is expected to announce on August 20.
The University of Transport is scheduled to announce it on August 21.
National Economics University, Banking Academy, Academy of Finance, Academy of Journalism and Communication, Hanoi University of Industry, Foreign Trade University, University of Commerce, expected to announce before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.
Southern region: Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education plans to announce the benchmark scores for the afternoon and evening of August 20.
Important timelines for candidates to note

In the 2025 enrollment season, candidates need to master the following important milestones:
From August 13 to 5:00 p.m. on August 20: Universities complete the download of candidates' admission data to the general system of the Ministry of Education and Training.
5:00 p.m. on August 20: The wish processing system and schools begin to enter admission scores. This is the time when many schools can announce the results early.
Before 5:00 p.m. on August 22: All schools must announce their admission scores and the list of first-round admission.
Before 5:00 p.m. on August 30: Admitted candidates must confirm their online admission on the system. If the application is not completed on time, candidates will be considered a refusal to enter the school.
The Ministry of Education and Training notes that successful candidates (including direct admission cases) must confirm their admission online on the Ministry of Education and Training's system before 5:00 p.m. on August 30. If this operation is not performed on time, candidates will be considered a refusal to enter the school and will lose their place.
From September 1 to December 2025, schools can organize additional admissions. However, candidates who have confirmed that they will not be allowed to participate in the first round of admission will not be eligible for additional admission.
