Google launches Gemini Intelligence
Today (May 13), Google officially launched Gemini Intelligence on Android, bringing Gemini's advanced technologies to new generation Android devices. The combination of high-end hardware and breakthrough software helps you handle work more efficiently.
Gemini Intelligence features will be deployed in stages, starting from the latest Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phone lines this summer. It is expected that by the end of the year, these experiences will continue to expand to many other Android devices such as smartwatches, car systems, smart glasses and laptops.
Automating multi-step tasks on multiple applications
Gemini's intelligence helps you automate repetitive and time-consuming tasks. Over the past months, Google has refined multi-step automation capabilities on Galaxy S26 and Pixel 10 with popular ride-hailing and food delivery applications.
In the near future, Gemini Smart integrated devices will support you to perform even more tasks. Gemini can handle everything for you, from prioritizing your favorite cycling class, searching for subject outlines in Gmail to adding necessary books to your shopping cart.
Other features
Fill in the form with just one operation: Google's Autofill feature is developing from a basic utility to a smarter and more intuitive experience. Thanks to Gemini's Personal Intelligence, Android will be able to automatically fill in many small information fields on your applications, including the Chrome browser.
Turn speech into complete text: The Gboard feature on Android already allows turning speech into text, but the reality is that the way people speak is not always the same as the way they want to write.
When speaking, people often correct sentences themselves, repeat words, or insert middle words like "uhm", "uh" or "like". To narrow that gap, Google introduces Rambler - a new feature belonging to Gemini Intelligence, designed to suit how people chat in reality.
Building customized utilities: With Gemini Intelligence, Google is taking the first step in applying the generative interface to a typical feature of Android, which is widgets.
The Create My Widget feature offers many new ways to make your device truly personal. You can build fully customizable widgets simply by describing the requirements in natural language.
For example, if you regularly prepare meals, you just need to ask: "Suggested three protein-rich menus per week", the system will automatically set up a separate control panel so you can add directly to the home screen and customize the size as you like. Or if you are a cyclist, interested in wind speed and rainfall, you can create a weather utility that only displays those parameters accurately.
