Anthropic is stepping up its ambition to make artificial intelligence a true "creative partner" by allowing AI assistant Claude to connect directly with a range of professional software such as Adobe and Autodesk.
Anthropic also introduced a new connector, allowing Claude to operate right inside popular creative tools. Instead of just playing an external support role, AI can now directly participate in the user's workflow.
The integrated platforms are diverse, from music, design to 3D models, including Ableton, Blender, SketchUp or Splice. According to Anthropic, these connections help Claude take advantage of existing data and tools, thereby helping users complete work faster and more efficiently.
With Adobe's Creative Cloud application suite, Claude can access dozens of tools in software such as Photoshop or Premiere Pro, supporting image and video editing right in the application.
Meanwhile, with Autodesk Fusion, users can create and edit 3D models through natural language commands.
A noteworthy point is that Claude does not only stop at answering questions but can also automate repetitive tasks, analyze data, and even support the development of customizable tools.
With Blender, AI can help debug 3D scenes, write Python code or create new utilities based on user requirements.
In the field of image rendering, tools such as Resolume Arena and Wire allow real-time content control in natural language. With SketchUp, users only need to describe the idea to create the original 3D model, before refining the details.
Along with that, Anthropic also participates in the "Blenderer Development Fund" as a business sponsor, contributing to promoting the open source software ecosystem. This is considered a step to strengthen Claude's position in the creative community.
This move follows Anthropic's previous launch of Claude Design, which allows users to create presentations, marketing materials or designs with simple commands.
Anthropic is aiming for a future where AI is not just a support tool but becomes a "digital colleague" in creative industries.
Deep integration into professional software can help Claude compete directly with other AI platforms, while changing the way people work with technology.
