On March 20, information from Bac Ninh Provincial Police said that the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police has put into operation software to manage temporarily seized violating vehicles, helping to manage data centrally, quickly and accurately.
The application of technology contributes to improving work efficiency, reducing time, manpower and increasing transparency in handling.
Accordingly, previously, the management of violating vehicles that were temporarily seized mainly carried out by books and discrete data on Excel files in each unit and area.
This method not only takes a lot of time to summarize and statistics, but also poses a risk of errors, lack of synchronization, causing difficulties in the work of searching, reporting and serving command and operation.
In particular, during peak periods of handling violations, the large number of vehicles temporarily seized, scattered at many points, further poses an urgent requirement for a centralized, scientific, and accurate management solution.
Starting from that reality, the Traffic Police Department of Bac Ninh Provincial Police has researched, developed and deployed software to manage temporarily seized vehicles with many superior features.
The software allows centralized management of all violating vehicle data throughout the province; supports fast data entry from sources; fully monitors the vehicle handling process from making records to returning or liquidating; and integrates a multi-dimensional lookup and reporting system according to many different criteria such as license plates, chassis number, engine number, violator, time, area.
In addition, the system also allows automatic synthesis, statistics, and data output to serve periodic and unscheduled reports; user administration, strict decentralization according to functions and tasks, ensuring information security and confidentiality.
The deployment of software to manage temporarily seized vehicles is a specific step in the digital transformation roadmap of the Traffic Police force of Bac Ninh Provincial Police, contributing to building a regular, elite, and modern force, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
