Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Mobilization Committee of the "For the Poor" Fund of Bac Ninh province chaired the conference.
In 2025, the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels in Bac Ninh province mobilized and received over 71.9 billion VND. Thereby, building 44 new Great Solidarity houses with an amount of over 2.4 billion VND; repairing 26 houses worth 567 million VND; visiting and giving gifts to more than 1,200 students who are children of poor households studying with an amount of over 800 million VND; giving nearly 3,000 Tet gifts to poor households, with a total value of 3.7 billion VND; other support of over 4 billion VND.
In addition, the Fatherland Front Committees of residential areas coordinated with branches and youth unions to mobilize people to directly help the poor with labor days and materials worth hundreds of millions of VND.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Mobilization Committee of the "For the Poor" Fund of Bac Ninh province have well implemented the use of the fund for the right purpose, for the right people, effectively, and promptly disbursed funds to support the poor to rise up in life.
At the conference, delegates raised opinions and proposed plans to use the "For the Poor" Fund in 2026 such as: Level of support for Tet gifts and major holidays for poor, near-poor, and unexpectedly difficult households; support for students to go to school, award scholarships to children of poor households, households in difficult circumstances; gift levels for poor households in residential areas selected as pilots in the Great National Unity Day; support for new construction and repair of houses...
Concluding at the conference, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Ha agreed on the subjects of support, expenditure content, and level of support in the draft plan to use the "For the Poor" Fund of the province.
Emphasizing that the Fund must be managed and used in accordance with legal regulations; publicly, transparently, absolutely not to let errors, negativity or waste occur, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha requested departments, branches, and members of the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee to actively participate in building a project to support the construction of great solidarity houses in 2026.
At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Mobilization Committee of the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels in the province proactively coordinate with relevant agencies, departments, and branches to implement practical and effective support activities.
Support is carefully reviewed, ensuring accuracy, fairness, prioritizing the most difficult poor households, creating a combined strength to help the poor rise up in life, contributing to the successful implementation of poverty reduction goals and socio-economic development tasks of the locality.
