In addition to the strong rise of the iPhone 14 Pro, sharing the chip with the iPhone 13 is also a reason why the iPhone 14 is not as popular as its predecessor.
Although the 2022 sales of the iPhone 12 and iPhone SE 3 are less profitable, both still have their own position in the list of top ten smartphones in the world in 2022 by Counterpoint Research. The iPhone 12 did not end 2022 with a high achievement, as it dropped below the top 20 in the holiday rankings.
Meanwhile, the iPhone SE (2022) is proving to have almost surprising resilience, which could explain why Apple is in no rush to release a fourth version of the compact and affordable device.
