After launching a new look of Android at the The Android Show event held a week earlier, Google will officially open the Google I/O conference at 0:00 on May 21 Hanoi time.
Users can directly follow Google's opening speech via a pre-implemented livestream or access the company's official YouTube channel.
At The Android Show, Google revealed some notable information about Gemini - its artificial intelligence (AI) - such as integrating it into Wear OS, Android Auto and Google TV. However, AI is still expected to be the focus of the keytopical speech at Google I/O. Google is expected to introduce improvements in how AI is applied to search engines, along with other surprises such as a new platform similar to Pinterest, but powered by AI.
In addition, the Android XR mixed reality platform is also confirmed to be in the program. Google is likely to announce more information about the mixed reality glasses device being developed with Samsung, or the pair of smart glasses integrated with Project Astra technology - which were revealed at the end of the recent Android event.
After the opening session, Google will organize in-depth seminars until May 21, revolving around many different topics for developers.
