How to authenticate subscribers on network operator applications to avoid service interruptions

HẠO THIÊN |

Currently, users can proactively standardize subscriber information right on the application of network operators and VNeID.

1: Viettel Network Operator

- System access: Viettel subscribers need to download the My Viettel application (available on the App Store and CH Play) to their phone, then log in with the phone number they are using via OTP authentication code.

- Find the standardization feature: right on the home screen, go to Utilities and select Verify subscriber information. If not found, users can type this phrase into the application's search bar.

- Choose VNeID method: the system provides NFC scanning options from the physical card or uses VNeID. The VNeID linking method usually brings convenience and the highest speed.

- Provide ID card images: users download screenshots of e-ID cards from the VNeID application to My Viettel, then the system will ask to turn on the camera to take portrait photos (face scan).

- Data synchronization: the VNeID application on the device will automatically open. At this step, log in, check the "Agree" box with rights/obligations, then click "Confirm sharing".

Return to My Viettel, review all personal information before signing on the screen, check the commitment to declare the truth and enter the final OTP code to end the process.

2: MobiFone network operator

- Log in and look up: Install the My MobiFone application (from the App Store or CH Play app store), use your phone number and OTP code to log in.

- Check the request: Navigate through the User Information > Subscriber Information link. If the "No update required" status appears, it means that the subscriber's data matches the national database.

- Standardization operation: If the system requires updates, users only need to follow the automatic navigation steps on the screen (including providing documents, facial scanning and electronic signature) similar to other carriers until they receive a confirmation notification.

3: VinaPhone network operator

- Check status: Download and log in to My VNPT using an OTP code from the phone. Then, users access the Subscriber Information section. If the system only displays personal information without warning, SIM data has met the standard and no further steps are required.

- Implement the update: If the subscriber information verification button appears on the screen, click "Implement now" and enter the OTP code for the system to start the process.

- VNeID link: Select the authentication form "Link to VNeID application". The system will ask users to take a direct photo of the front/back of the actual CCCD card and take a selfie of the face.

- Share confirmation: Click the "Open VNeID application" button. Similar to Viettel network, users need to log in to VNeID, accept the terms and allow sharing identification information.

Return to the My VNPT application, perform electronic signing (use your finger to write on the screen). When the success notification appears, the subscriber information update process is complete.

4: VNeID

- Download and log in to the VNeID application. On the Homepage screen, the notification is displayed, citizens press Access function

- Verification by passcode or fingerprint/face (depending on the authentication configuration of the account on the device)

- Tap the phone number

- Select the integration request (click on the request to see detailed information)

- Confirm information integration: Citizens check the information -> Select "Using subscriber number" -> Click Confirm.

- Confirm not to integrate information: Citizens check the information -> Select "Do not use subscriber number" -> Click Confirm.

- Confirm successful integration.
