If the Galaxy S24 Ultra was rated as the phone with the best screen in 2024, the Galaxy S25 Ultra (expected to launch in early 2025) is expected to have an even better screen.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to retain the same 6.8-inch display as its predecessor. However, this new display will be more durable and reduce reflections better.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra now features first-generation Corning Gorilla Armor glass, which is scratch-resistant, impact-resistant, and reduces reflections by up to 75%. This improves the viewing experience, even in bright light or under harsh sunlight.
According to the reputable leaker Ice Universe, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will upgrade to the second generation of Corning Gorilla Armor glass. This new glass is not only more durable but also has enhanced anti-reflective capabilities. This will be the exclusive difference of the Galaxy S25 Ultra version.
Still, users are hopeful that this screen coating won't have the same issues as the Galaxy S24 Ultra, where there were reports of the screen degrading rapidly after less than a year of use.
The Galaxy S25 series is expected to be announced on January 22, 2025 and go on sale from February 4, 2025. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to have soft rounded corners, thin screen bezels, flat edges, along with a new 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and up to 16GB of RAM.
The entire lineup will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, along with some of the AI features that Samsung is expected to introduce.
