Enjoy the benefits of digital transformation
After a few days of launching the Digital Citizen Station model at Kim Cuong Island Cave (Binh Trung Ward) has received positive responses from the people. This is considered a breakthrough in bringing administrative procedures and civil utilities closer to the people, significantly reducing the pressure on State agencies.
The "Digital Citizen Station" operates under a "one-stop" mechanism with two core features. The first is the Public Service Kiosk, supporting people to carry out administrative procedures online on the National Public Service Portal. Second is the People's Public Utilities, integrating many essential services such as paying electricity, water, internet bills, financial - banking services. Notably, the station also provides community health services, allowing people to register for health insurance online and have basic health check-ups on the spot.
Directly experiencing the utilities at the station, Ms. Luong Ngoc Huyen (Binh Trung ward) said that this is a wonderful, modern innovation and brings many practical utilities to the people. "I came to experience health check-up services. Thanks to that, I can know the basic indicators, which are necessary to proactively treat and maintain health" - Ms. Huyen shared.
Mr. Le Quang Hieu (Binh Trung Ward) said that this system will support people a lot in life. "First, I can have a community health check-up - something I find very surprising and useful. Second, there is no need to travel far to the ward police headquarters, people can carry out procedures right here, very convenient" - Mr. Hieu said.
During the experience, he registered for the health check-up service and highly appreciated the modernity and friendliness of the device. However, according to him, there are still some items in the system that have not been updated and cannot be used. He hopes that the government and related units will soon complete and fully supplement features so that people can be better served.
Replicating the model in many areas
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huong - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Trung Ward - said: "Digital Citizen Station" is a model that is a point of reference for the entire Ho Chi Minh City, directed by the Ho Chi Minh City Police. After the pilot phase at the Diamond Island snail, if the model is evaluated as effective, Binh Trung ward will continue to expand. "There are up to 41 apartment buildings in the ward. After the model on Diamond Island is effectively implemented, we will try to replicate it in all residential areas to convey all administrative records and procedures to serve people at home and at their residence" - Ms. Huong shared.
In parallel with the implementation of the "Digital Citizen Station", the Binh Trung Ward Public Administration Service Center also launched a series of attacks to coordinate the implementation of the "Digital Citizen Education Center" movement. Binh Trung Ward has 55 neighborhoods, the unit has deployed in 11 neighborhoods, directly guiding people to carry out digital procedures. The connection of the model of "Digital Citizen Education Center" and "Digital Citizen Station" aims to create a syndicated strength, serving people most effectively in the area.
The "Digital Citizen Station" model is integrated with multiple services to support people, focusing on 2 main features:
Public service kiosks: Support people to carry out administrative procedures on the Public Service Portal, such as: Submitting documents online, paying online; Looking up information, progress of administrative procedures; Reflecting information on security and order and other issues...
Civil benefits: Support people to perform civil benefits, such as: Payment of service bills (electricity, internet, telecommunications, tuition fees, apartment management fees); register to buy health insurance online; register for medical examination and treatment (with a remote connection system with doctors); financial, banking and telecommunications services (opening credit card accounts, registering for consumer loans, identification and buying SIM cards...).
