Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen App launches many new features on the occasion of the April 30 holiday

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen application has launched many new features.

On the occasion of the April 30 - May 1 holiday this year, Ho Chi Minh City residents can directly experience a series of new utilities on the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen application.

Update all April 30 holiday events in Ho Chi Minh City

During this holiday, a series of major events are taking place across Ho Chi Minh City, from parades, parades, art performances, fireworks to book fairs, fairs and community programs. The " News & Events" feature on the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen application helps people easily track the entire city's event schedule right on their mobile phone.

The application also supports searching for maps of venue locations, smart directions, and statistics of incentive programs - discounts from shopping malls, restaurants, and entertainment areas.

Users can filter events by time, location, and preferences to plan a reasonable and economical holiday.

More convenient and easier blood donation

With the "Blood Donation Information" feature integrated on the application, Ho Chi Minh City residents can participate in this charity activity more easily than ever.

Users can review their entire blood donation history, track blood donation frequency, and be ready to plan for the next donation. The feature to look up the nearest blood donation location will help users choose the most convenient location.

In particular, in the near future, people can also register to donate blood online, reducing waiting time, and at the same time receiving notices calling for emergency blood donation from health agencies.

Look up student records

Education is the foundation for the development of every family and society. The "Search student records" feature on the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen application opens a door to connect parents and schools, helping parents closely monitor their children's learning and training process.

Through this feature, parents can grasp information about classes, schools, semester results, extracurricular activities as well as receive official notices from the school. In the near future, the system will also be expanded to allow the search and proposal of suitable schools according to residential address - a useful tool for families with children preparing for grade 1, grade 6 or transfer.

The Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen Application (Digital Citizen Application) developed by the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center, launched on November 14, 2024, is a two-way communication channel between the Ho Chi Minh City government and people through one-touch interaction.

To date, the App has had 327,043 downloads and regular access with 1,260,710 interactions and uses of services on the application.
