Digital transformation is associated with development strategies
Recently, at the seminar "Digital transformation for Binh Thuan: Issues and Solutions," provincial leaders and experts discussed enthusiastically about solutions and opportunities from digital transformation, and affirmed that this is a key factor for the province to develop in the coming time.
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hoai Anh said that the workshop is an important step in implementing digital transformation tasks according to the Action Program of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. The main goal is to create a breakthrough in thinking and solutions, helping Binh Thuan make the most of the advantages of technology for development. Digital transformation is an indispensable step in the province's innovation process, aiming to build a transparent, efficient administration and comprehensive socio-economic development, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh emphasized.
At the workshop, experts shared experiences on the "smart society" model, helping to promote digital transformation in rural areas, creating a modern living and working environment for people. In addition, improving digital transformation skills for businesses and people in Binh Thuan province is also considered an important factor to increase product value, especially in the agricultural sector.
Important steps
Since 2022, Binh Thuan has implemented digital transformation tasks according to Resolution No. 10-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee with the goal of completing telecommunications infrastructure and digital platforms to serve the people. Initial results show that digital transformation has helped improve the quality of administrative work, with citizen data systems and online public services being effectively deployed. E-commerce is also growing strongly, and cashless payments have been widely applied.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Huu Huy said that "Stinguishing the apparatus, connecting data, smart governance" will be the consistent motto in the province's digital transformation. Binh Thuan province is studying smart commune models in line with the Project to rearrange administrative units at all levels, thereby improving the efficiency of management and local development".

The future of Binh Thuan is associated with a digital transformation strategy, not only in improving digital infrastructure but also in developing policies to encourage businesses to participate in e-commerce and train high-quality human resources. Smart financial solutions, helping businesses transform sustainably in digital transformation, were also presented by experts at the workshop. This is even more important when Binh Thuan province plans to merge with Lam Dong and Dak Nong according to the Resolution of the Central Executive Committee.
