Microsoft has just updated the Copilot application on Windows, bringing the ability to create Office documents directly from the chat interface and integrate with email accounts such as Gmail and Outlook.
The update will be rolled out first to Windows Insider users, before being widely released to all Windows 11 users.
With the new Copilot, users can create word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF with just one nhac nhat in the chat window.
You can immediately turn ideas, notes, and data into documents that can be shared and edited without any other steps or tools, says the Copilot development team.
In particular, for replies 600 characters or longer, the application provides a default output button, allowing content to be sent directly to Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF.
In addition, Copilot on Windows also allows users to link to Gmail or Outlook accounts, helping AI access content from online inboxes.
Users can ask Copilot to find all invoices from a company or look up the email address of a contact quickly.
This is an optional feature that requires users to clearly connect to a Outlook or Google account in the settings.
The system also supports OneDrive, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Google contacts connectivity, similar to the integration that OpenAI launched in ChatGPT earlier this year.
Copilot's update on Windows is seen as a preparation step before Microsoft releases the new OneDrive app next year.
The improved OneDrive version will include a new library view, AI-powered projection, and enhanced editing features, promising to enhance the working experience and document management for Windows users.
With these new features, Microsoft continues to expand the ability to integrate AI in Office and Windows environments, making it easy for users to turn ideas into real products, while managing data and emails more effectively.
