StartupBlink (an international organization specializing in researching, mapping and evaluating the global startup ecosystem, based in Singapore) has just held a conference and announced the report "Global Startup Ecosystem Index 2026".
According to this report, Da Nang is one of the localities with outstanding progress when it increased from 766th in 2025 to 554th globally in 2026.

Not only rising strongly, Da Nang is also one of the 20 typical ecosystems selected by StartupBlink to present papers at the conference. This is considered a signal that the city is gradually affirming its position on the international innovative startup map.
At the workshop, representatives of Da Nang emphasized the goal of building the city into a smart, sustainable, and international-standard innovation city by 2030.
To realize this goal, Da Nang aims to be in the Top 300 global startup ecosystems by 2030; in the Top 5 leading localities in the country in terms of innovation index; developing more than 500 startups in operation, of which over 20% have foreign elements.

The city also aims to attract 8-10 investment fund offices located in Da Nang and form at least one technological "unicorn" worth over 1 billion USD.
The continuous ranking not only reflects the increase in the number of startups, but also shows that Da Nang's startup environment is increasingly dynamic, open and has the ability to connect internationally more deeply.
This result comes from the process of building an innovative startup ecosystem over the years, with the participation of the government, businesses, universities, research institutes, investment funds, experts and the startup community.
In particular, Da Nang has issued many specific mechanisms and policies to promote innovation and support startups to develop. This is an important foundation for the city to continue to compete in the context that cities are promoting the attraction of human resources, capital flows and new technologies.
