Promoting the application of population data
On the afternoon of March 11, at the preliminary conference on 1 year of implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW, 5 years of implementing the overall program of state administrative reform and 4 years of implementing Project 06, Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, said that after 4 years of implementing Project 06 of the Government, Da Nang has achieved many positive results in developing and exploiting population data to serve digital transformation.
Population data has been cleaned, enriched and effectively exploited; 100% of departments, branches and one-stop shops in wards and communes have connected and exploited the National Population Database. The city has also completed the targets for issuing chip-based citizen identification cards and activating level 2 electronic identification accounts for people.
Many administrative procedures are carried out online, helping to reduce costs and travel time for people and businesses. Population data is gradually being integrated, shared and applied in fields such as health, education, social security and residence management, contributing to improving the efficiency of state management.
The implementation of Project 06 also contributes to changing people's digital awareness and habits, creating an important foundation for the comprehensive digital transformation process in the city. The achieved results have created an important foundation for Da Nang to continue to effectively exploit population data, develop digital services and build a modern administrative environment, better serving the needs of people and businesses in the coming time.
Administrative reform achieves many positive results
Regarding the implementation of administrative reform in the period 2021-2025 and key task orientations for the period 2026-2030, Mr. Tran Trung Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, said that in the period 2021-2025, administrative reform is identified by the City People's Committee as a key task to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management and the quality of service to people and businesses.

The city has synchronously implemented the contents of the Overall Program for State Administrative Reform for the period 2021-2030, focusing on perfecting institutions, arranging organizational structures, improving the quality of cadres, civil servants, public employees and promoting administrative procedure reform.
More than 2,000 administrative procedures have been reviewed, simplified and made public; many procedures have been shortened in processing time, contributing to improving the investment and business environment. The administrative apparatus continues to be streamlined and more efficient; the work of recruiting, training, and fostering cadres and civil servants is focused on.
Thanks to that, the city's governance and public administration assessment indicators such as PAR INDEX, SIPAS, PCI and PAPI have all been improved, and the satisfaction level of people and businesses is increasingly improved. The achieved results have made an important contribution to building a professional, modern, transparent and serving administration, creating motivation to promote socio-economic development of the city.
