The event is organized by the European Union for Innovation in collaboration with the Institute for International Studies in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, East Asia University.
This is the 2nd international conference on Responsible Artificial Intelligence and Data Science held at the school. It is also the 44th international conference and the 12th conference in the field of artificial intelligence and data science that Dong A University is coordinating with research institutes, universities and international organizations to implement.
The conference is within the framework of a scientific cooperation initiative between the IAD Institute of East Asia University and Gemtex-Ensait, Lille University, France through the establishment of the "International Cooperation Chairman on Data Science and Explainable Artificial Intelligence" located at the University of East Asia.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Luong Minh Sam, Chairman of the Council of Dong A University, said that the world is entering a period of transformation towards the 5.0 Industrial Revolution, where people and smart technologies cooperate closely. In that context, the development of artificial intelligence is not only aimed at improving technological efficiency but also must ensure the principles of transparency, fairness, responsibility and conformity with human values.
The EAI RAIDS 2026 conference takes place in a live format combined with online, gathering 43 thematic reports from experts from many countries such as the US, France, Israel, China and Vietnam. The event attracted a large number of scholars, researchers, lecturers and students in the field of artificial intelligence and data science.
In the discussion sessions, experts focused on exchanging new technology trends such as resource-saving AI models, reliable and safe AI, AI applications in healthcare, industrial manufacturing, higher education, as well as AIoT systems combining devices, frontier computing and cloud platforms.
At the workshop, a signing ceremony was also held between VN168 Technology Joint Stock Company and Dong A University to promote research, training and transfer of artificial intelligence, data science and digital transformation. The cooperation content focuses on the fields of smart agriculture, natural resource management and building digital government in the Central Highlands region.
The conference is expected to become an international academic forum for scientists to exchange research results, expand cooperation and promote the responsible application of artificial intelligence and data science in many fields.
