On July 1, the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group (Viettel) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Viettel Da Nang Building in the East bank of the Han River, Da Nang City.
The event marks a strategic step in orienting the development of Viettel's high-tech infrastructure in the Central region, this is also the most modern high-tech office building in Da Nang, simulated as a government city following the new government model after the merger.
Viettel Da Nang Building has a unique architecture inspired by the word "V" - symbolizing the Viettel brand and the spirit of constant innovation. The project consists of two main blocks, fully integrating the functions of serving research, development of core technology, product testing, data center operation and the work of hundreds of experts, engineers, and high-tech researchers.
The building is designed and built in the direction of green architecture - sustainable development, integrated with hanging gardens, energy-saving facades and environmentally friendly materials. With the design opening up public space, squares and urban communication areas, the project promises to be a new highlight in the architectural landscape of the city on the Han River.
This will be the place to deploy key areas of telecommunications, information technology, logistics, aerospace, electronics and telecommunications, artificial intelligence, network security, cloud computing, etc. Viettel also oriented the building to become an open ecosystem, supporting research cooperation, incubation to create solutions and develop technological human resources for the whole region.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City said that this is the first project to start construction on the first day of the historic turning point of the new Da Nang city.
"The city expects the Viettel Building that started construction today to become the center for implementing Viettel's most advanced digital technology solutions, a place for research, testing and application of new technologies, digital transformation solutions and connecting cooperation in the process of implementing rapid and sustainable development goals to serve smart governance, promote digital investment, digital finance and attract high-quality capital flows into the city; spread the spirit of innovation and digital transformation to the business community and the investment ecosystem", Mr. Triet emphasized.
Viettel Da Nang Building is expected to be completed in June 2027, on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the establishment of Viettel Group.
