The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued Decision No. 1287/QD-UBND dated September 1, 2025 approving the budget and supplementing the targeted funding to support upgrading and renovating the Lan network system for 89 communes and wards according to the list of the Department of Science and Technology.
Accordingly, the maximum support level is 300 million VND/commune or ward, with a total estimated cost of more than 26 billion VND. The expenditure source is taken from administrative management expenditures, the Party and organizations have not been allocated in the regular expenditure estimate of the city budget in 2025.
The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to implement additional targets for the commune and ward budgets; coordinate with the State Treasury of Region XIII for implementation. The Department of Science and Technology is responsible for monitoring, guiding, and inspecting the implementation process, ensuring the system after upgrading is smooth and efficient.
The People's Committees of communes and wards are required to review the current status of the Lan network system; decide on upgrading and renovating in a cost-effective and economical manner; at the same time, unused funds must be paid to the budget and not used for other purposes.
The Appendix to the Decision clearly states that the total support budget is more than 26 billion VND, allocated to 89 communes and wards. Most units are supported with a level of 300 million VND, some have lower levels such as: Tra Lien commune 284 million VND, Nam Phuoc commune 164 million VND, Thanh My commune 144 million VND.
