On the afternoon of December 5, at the Institute of Posts and Telecommunications Technology (Ha Dong Ward, Hanoi), the first Summit of the new era of the Business and Science - Technology Intelligence Alliance (KHCN) took place.
The conference has the theme "Finint pha tang kep for khoa hoc - khoa hoc - khoa hoc enterprises in the new era, period 2025 - 2030".
The event was chaired by the Vietnam Association of Science and Technology Enterprises (VST), in coordination with the Department of Startups and Technology Enterprises (Ministry of Science and Technology).
In his opening speech, Mr. Hoang Duc Thao, Chairman of VST, emphasized that in the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution spreading strongly, technological breakthroughs such as artificial intelligence, big data, digital technology and smart automation are changing the way the economy operates.

Along with the process of globalization and extensive integration, Vietnam is forced to proactively participate in the global value chain, requiring the innovation capacity of enterprises to be raised to new heights to strengthen national competitiveness.
VST Chairman believes that the trend of digitalization and the increased demand for online public services and e-commerce are putting great pressure on the public-private sector, promoting the requirement of comprehensive, rapid and sustainable digital transformation.
The conference aims at common action to connect businessmen and intellectuals, bring science and technology products from research to the market, and create value for society.
More than ever, Vietnamese businesses and science and technology intellectuals need to promote the spirit of mastering the market, self-reliance in technology, daring to think, daring to do, daring to invest in research and commercializing science and technology products to spread domestically and integrate internationally, Mr. Thao called for.
Also at the conference, Mr. Tran Xuan Dich, Deputy Director of the Department of Startups and Technology Enterprises (Ministry of Science and Technology), said that although the State, scientists and enterprises have different roles, they share the common goal of developing the country based on science, technology and innovation.
In particular, the State creates the environment through resolutions, laws, and preferential mechanisms; scientists create knowledge with research and inventions; businesses, especially science and technology enterprises, create value through investment, testing, and commercialization of products.

Mr. Tran Xuan Dich emphasized that when the three forces connect into an alliance, the innovation ecosystem will form a "development triangle": problems from practice, solutions from institutes, schools and policy tools from the State.
This event also creates an opportunity for businesses to raise concerns related to incentives, procedures for registering science and technology enterprises, and project implementation; at the same time, for scientists to share difficulties in commercializing research results, finding partners, negotiating ownership rights and benefits. From there, the management agency has more information to perfect the policy to be more practical.
The Department of Startups and Technology Enterprises is committed to continuing to accompany and expand the connection program, policy consulting, supporting procedures, training to improve capacity, registering for intellectual property and accessing capital for the science and technology business community.
Immediately after Mr. Tran Xuan Dich's speech, the conference continued with the forum of the Science and Technology Alliance - solving problems from practice.
It is a place for experts, managers and entrepreneurs to discuss solutions to remove difficulties, promote business development and promote research, creating dual value for the Vietnamese economy.
