Hanoi - On December 5, VinFuture Foundation will organize the VinFuture 2025 Award Ceremony - the focal activity of VinFuture Science and Technology Week 2025.

The VinFuture 2025 award ceremony will take place at 8:00 p.m. on December 5 at Ho Guom Theater (Hanoi). The ceremony will feature singer, songwriter and music producer Alicia Keys - a 17-time Grammy winner.

The VinFuture 2025 Award Ceremony is one of the special events in the VinFuture Science and Technology Week 2025, taking place from December 2-6, 2025 in Hanoi. This year's annual week continues to affirm VinFuture's mission in connecting knowledge, arousing the desire to serve and elevating Vietnam's position as a center for science and innovation in the world.

According to the Organizing Committee, this year, the award will be presented to works that bring the value of "Supporting together - prosperity together" to humanity, in accordance with the theme set, affirming VinFuture's mission in honoring intelligence, spreading humanity and serving life. The works honored are the crystallization of pioneering thinking, of persistent efforts to overcome challenges and of the desire to use science to serve life.

In addition to the Award Ceremony, VinFuture Week 2025 also has many outstanding activities such as: "Inspiring presentation", "Science seminar for Life"; "VinFuture Future Development Dialogue Series"; "Scientific touchpoint Exhibition - The Touch of Science"; "Exchange with VinFuture 2025 Award winners" and "VinUni - Leadership Forum: Higher Education Innovation Conference".

The VinFuture Prize was established in 2020 by Vingroup, honoring breakthrough scientific and technological inventions with the potential to create meaningful changes in life. Every year, the awards have a total value of 4.5 million USD (more than 118 billion VND), including a Grand Prize worth 3 million USD (about nearly 79 billion VND) and three Special Prizes, each worth 500,000 USD (more than 13 billion VND). Three Special Prizes are for female scientists; scientists from developing countries; scientists with outstanding achievements in new fields.

After 5 seasons, VinFuture has awarded a total of 20 prizes to 48 scientists from 5 continents, recognizing their great contributions to the development of humanity. The prestige of the award is also affirmed when many scientists after receiving the VinFuture Prize continue to be honored at other prestigious awards such as Nobel Prize, Queen Elizabeth Technique or Breakthrough.
