According to the Organizing Committee, this year's VinFuture season recorded more than 1,700 entries from more than 70 countries and territories (2.8 times higher than the 1st season), showing the prestige and increasingly strong influence of the award after half a decade of development. The works honored are the crystallization of pioneering thinking, of persistent efforts to overcome challenges and of the desire to use science to serve life.
According to Prof. Dang Van Chi - Member of the VinFuture Prize Council: "When the names of this year's prize winners are announced, we will see that VinFuture once again "chooses to deposit gold" very well. In particular, this year's Main Award is a research work that has an impact on a very large population worldwide".
Accordingly, the VinFuture 2025 Main Prize is worth 3 million USD and three Special Prizes for female scientists, scientists from developing countries, and scientists researching new fields, each prize worth 500,000 USD.

Notably, after the first 4 seasons, there were 4 groups of scientists who, after being honored on the VinFuture stage, continued to be named for the Nobel Prize. This is considered a testament to the outstanding vision of the first international award founded by Vietnamese people, and at the same time, reflects the worthy recognition of research that has a profound impact on humanity.
We, as members of the Council, have chosen the right person. If they win the VinFuture Prize, scientists will be more likely to win the Nobel Prize" - Professor. Dang Van Chi shared.
Prof. Chi also commented that Vietnam is still building capacity for research and development of science and technology. "I hope that the VinFuture Prize will be a motivation for young Vietnamese scientists and technologists to truly innovate and move the country forward" - Prof. The emphasized weather.
