On March 2nd, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee organized a training and practical drill program to respond to network security incidents in the province, with the participation of many key leaders and specialized forces.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, cyberspace has now become a "front". Cyber attack campaigns are not only aimed at stealing state secrets, business secrets, personal data but also aimed at reducing social trust, disrupting governance activities, paralyzing key infrastructure and creating economic, political, and security pressure.

Over the past time, functional forces in the area have discovered many websites of state agencies with "gov.vn" domain names being exploited for security vulnerabilities to insert links to advertise gambling and betting. Even installing malware and illegally redirecting access.
These are specific signs showing that the risk of intrusion and taking control of the system is completely real.
This exercise not only aims to equip knowledge and professional skills, but more importantly, to train the ability to coordinate real combat between the Provincial Cyber Security Incident Response Team and relevant forces. From here, clarify the process of early detection, early warning, isolation, zoning, handling, overcoming and restoring the system when incidents occur.
The program also checks command and operation capabilities; inter-sectoral coordination mechanism, public-private coordination; ability to preserve digital evidence; ensuring communication; crisis communication and maintaining the continuous operation of agencies and units in the context of cyberattacks.
The training and practical exercise program to respond to network security incidents takes place from March 2 to 7.
In particular, members participate in live combat exercises in an online form, with the goal of simulated attacks and specific task assignments, thereby improving the ability to be ready to respond to network security incidents in reality.
