On February 28, at the Cultural and Sports Center for Workers of Suoi Dau Industrial Park (Cam Lam commune), the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation to organize the 2026 voluntary blood donation program.
Nearly 200 officials, union members and workers of 26 businesses in the industrial park registered to donate blood.
The results have collected 183 units of blood that meet the requirements. All this blood will be distributed to medical facilities in the province, serving emergency and treatment for patients.
The program takes place in the context of a shortage of blood reserves after the Lunar New Year, and increasing demand for emergency and treatment.
Previously, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society to organize propaganda and mobilize officials and workers at Suoi Dau Industrial Park to participate in voluntary blood donation to promptly supplement blood sources.
According to a representative of the Provincial Labor Federation, the activities are implemented based on Official Dispatch No. 41/BCĐ. HMTN dated February 24, 2026 of the Provincial Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee on mobilizing urgent blood donation in February 2026, and at the same time responding to the Letter calling for blood donation participation during the 2026 Lunar New Year.
With the message "Each drop of blood given - A life left behind", voluntary blood donation has become an annual activity of the Khanh Hoa provincial trade union organization.
This is not only a humanitarian gesture but also shows the pioneering spirit and social responsibility of union members, workers, and laborers joining hands for community health.
