On February 27, Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - together with leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and departments and branches organized a delegation to visit and encourage postal and telecommunications businesses in the area.

The working delegation began the working program at Mobifone Vinh Long, then went to VNPT Vinh Long, Viettel Vinh Long and Vinh Long Provincial Post Office, to record the operating results of the first months of 2026 and orient tasks for the coming time.

At the working sessions, representatives of postal and telecommunications enterprises quickly reported on the operating results of the first months of 2026, the situation of subscriber development, infrastructure expansion, digital service deployment and digital transformation in the area. The units also raised some difficulties and obstacles in technology investment, market competition and related procedures.

At the working session at Mobifone Vinh Long, Ms. Nguyen Thi Doan - Director of the unit said - in 2025, Mobifone Vinh Long ranked in the top 5 revenue in the country, contributing 680 billion VND, currently the company has 204 employees. Target assigned is 999 billion VND.

In 2026, Mobifone Vinh Long continues to accompany the province in implementing digital government and digital society, businesses have proactively expanded digital infrastructure, improved service quality, promoted digital transformation solutions for state agencies and businesses, contributing to promoting the development of the digital economy in the locality.

Representatives of businesses also informed about the production and business situation, advantages and difficulties, and at the same time proposed that the province continue to pay attention to supporting mechanisms and policies, creating conditions for units to invest in new technologies, develop digital services, expand markets and improve competitiveness.

Speaking at the companies, Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen acknowledged and praised the efforts of postal and telecommunications enterprises in maintaining growth, ensuring jobs and income for workers; and at the same time making positive contributions to the development of the digital economy and effectively implementing social security work in the province.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the new and creative directions in applying digital transformation, developing telecommunications infrastructure, information technology, and expanding digital services, thereby contributing to promoting administrative reform, building digital government, digital economy and digital society in Vinh Long.

She proposed that businesses continue to innovate management models, improve the quality of human resources, strengthen investment in modern technology, proactively participate deeply in the province's digital economic ecosystem, and accompany the implementation of the goal of double-digit economic growth and sustainable development in the new period.

At the visit and encouragement ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province presented gifts to postal and telecommunications businesses, acknowledging their positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality, and encouraging units to continue to strive and successfully complete the assigned tasks in 2026.
