According to the startup Halliday, this product will officially launch after CES 2025, with shipping planned for the end of Q1 2025. The expected selling price ranges from 399 to 499 USD, higher than competitors such as Meta Ray-Bans ($299) or Solos AirGo Vision.
Halliday Glasses’ standout feature is the “DigiWindow,” a tiny display module located in the upper right corner of the frame. This display allows users to view information on a 3.5-inch screen without obstructing their vision. Whether or not the user needs corrective lenses, the information is clearly visible, even in bright sunlight.
The main support for Halliday Glasses is an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant that is proactive, not only analyzing conversations but also providing answers and additional information without being asked. During meetings, the AI can automatically answer complex questions, summarize key points and take meeting notes.
The smart glasses also integrate many modern features such as real-time translation in 40 languages, live navigation, voice-to-text conversion, and synchronized lyrics display while listening to music. Users can also view and reply to messages, create audio notes, or use the glasses as a teleprompter.
Halliday Glasses connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth to enable AI features, but details about the AI model or additional costs have not been released. The information displayed on the glasses is only visible to the user and can be controlled via voice commands, touch-sensitive frames, or a ring with a built-in trackpad.
Weighing just 35 grams, the glasses offer up to eight hours of battery life and come in two colour options: Matte Black or Tortoiseshell. The lightweight design and cutting-edge technology make Halliday Glasses an attractive option for customers who value convenience and modernity.
