The International Cybersecurity Championship is one of the largest cybersecurity competitions today, focusing on the ability to protect, defend and investigate cyber attacks on a system-wide scale. In 2025, the final round will take place in Russia with strong teams from cybersecurity powers such as Russia, India, Thailand, Belarus, Malaysia...
This year's tournament brings together 116 teams from nearly 30 countries to compete in the qualifying round. Vietnam has many participating representatives such as NCS, VNPT... However, only the VNPT Cyber Immunity team has successfully passed the qualifying round with the top 1 score in the whole group to officially register for the final round.
Before entering the final round, the teams must pass the group stage according to the CTF (Capture The Flag) format with a series of in-depth challenges such as cryptography (Cryptptography), digital investigation (Forensic), Reverse Engineering (Reverse Engineering), web exploitation (Web Exploitation), Steganography ( steganography) and many mixed-use techniques (Joy).
As a result in the group stage, VNPT Cyber Immunity not only overcame strong opponents, but was also the team with the highest score in all groups when leading Group 3 (including 42 teams) with 7,200 points.
Entering the final round, facing fierce competition from the world's leading teams, VNPT Cyber Immunity continues to maintain its form, demonstrating flexible handling ability, sharp tactical thinking and close coordination between members.
Throughout the competition, VNPT Cyber Immunity team demonstrated their comprehensive capabilities with in-depth skills such as System hardening (System Backup), Blue Team Operations (Active Defense for Monitoring, detection, investigation and response to attacks), Reverse Engineering (Dich ma ma hoa nguoc), King of the Hill (KoTH - attacking the server).
With smooth coordination, smart coordination strategy and flexible handling, in the final, VNPT Cyber Immunity made a miracle when it excellently won the top 3 finalists, behind the two teams of Belarus and Russia. This achievement marks a new milestone for VNPT in the world's major cybersecurity arena.
