According to records, at about 8 am on September 21, Facebook on the computer appeared in a situation where content could not be downloaded or operated unstablely. Meanwhile, the Facebook application on the phone can still be accessed and used normally.
There is currently no official information from Meta about the cause of the incident. Online incident tracking tools at the time of inspection have not recorded a new widespread disruption on Facebook.
Ms. Linh Trang (Hanoi) said that at about 8 am on September 21, she accessed Facebook on her computer, but the page could not load content, only displaying a white screen with the Facebook icon in the middle. Meanwhile, the Facebook application on her phone was still operating normally.
This is not the first time Facebook has encountered a specific error on the web platform. Previously, on September 17, many users in Vietnam and some other regions also reflected that Facebook encountered problems on the web version, while the mobile application could still be used.
