Saudi Arabia launches 28 airstrikes on Yemen in 24 hours
On September 20, according to Xinhua, a Houthi military spokesman announced that F-15 and Typhoon fighters taking off from Saudi Arabia's Khamis Mushait and Taif air bases had carried out 28 heavy bombings on the provinces of Taiz, Marib and Al-Jawf in the past 24 hours.
The Houthi side said that the total number of airstrikes has reached 760 since tensions broke out again. At the same time, al-Masirah television channel reported on the same day that a telecommunications tower in Al-Jawf was destroyed and the Saada border area suffered heavy artillery fire.
Saudi Arabia has not yet made an official comment.
The bombing took place amid fierce ground fighting in southwestern Yemen. A Yemeni government military source on September 20 confirmed that loyal forces had retaken many positions in western Taiz, aiming to prevent the enemy's advance after the Houthi successively occupied Mocha port on September 10, controlled Dhubab and Mayyun island in the center of the Bab al Mandab Strait on September 11.

US-led efforts to end the four-and-a-half-year war have stalled in recent months, as Washington shifted its focus to the conflict with Iran. Meanwhile, both Russia and Ukraine have stepped up long-range attacks on each other.
Mr. Trump has not made immediate public comments on Mr. Zelensky's statements.
The United Russia Party leads the National Duma election according to polls after voting
According to TASS, poll results after voting show that the United Russia Party is leading with 49.4% of the support in the National Duma election.
Followed by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) reaching 14.2%, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) winning 10.7%, the New People Party reaching 9.7% and the Just Russia Party winning 6.6% of support.
