iPhone prices in Vietnam stabilize

In Vietnam, the price of iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max 256 GB versions at major systems is 38.99 million VND and 41.99 million VND. This is the average price compared to some other markets in the world.
In the US, the price of iPhone 18 Pro is 1,199 USD (more than 31 million VND) and iPhone 18 Pro Max is 1,299 USD (33.8 million VND). As usual, the price in the US is significantly lower by 7-8 million VND compared to Vietnam. But this is a price that does not include consumption tax in each state.
Contrary to the US, iPhone prices in India are considered the highest in the world. iPhone 18 Pro is sold here at a starting price of 164,900 rupees (45.1 million VND), while iPhone 18 Pro Max is 179,900 rupees (49.2 million VND). Due to high import tax on components and equipment, India continues to be one of the places with the highest iPhone prices in the world, higher than the price in Vietnam by 6-7 million VND.
Compared to countries in the region, iPhone prices in Vietnam do not differ much, being more expensive or cheaper by several hundred thousand VND. Accordingly, iPhone 18 Pro in Singapore is 1,899 SGD (more than 39 million VND), while iPhone 18 Pro Max is 2,099 SGD (more than 43.2 million VND).
In Thailand, the price of iPhone 18 Pro is 48,900 baht (38.6 million VND), while iPhone 18 Pro Max is 52,900 baht (41.5 million VND)...
Purchasing power surges compared to the previous generation
According to records at major systems in Vietnam, the number of customers depositing for iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max has skyrocketed compared to the previous generation. At TopZone, just 20 minutes after opening the pre-order gateway, TopZone recorded 160,000 pre-orders. As of 10 am on September 13, this number has exceeded 190,000 pre-orders, of which more than 170,000 customers deposited.
Compared to last year's iPhone season, the number of interested customers and pre-orders this year has more than doubled. This shows the extremely great attraction of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, and also reflects the trend of users increasingly actively learning information and preparing early to be able to own the product right from the time of opening sale," the system representative shared.
At the FPT Shop system, the number of customers registering to receive new iPhone information increased by more than 30% compared to the previous year, showing that the appeal of Apple products is still very large. According to Mr. Nguyen Nhu Thanh - Deputy Director of Apple's Industry, FPT Shop system, iPhone 18 Pro Max is the version chosen the most by customers on the system, accounting for about 94% of the total deposits of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max lines.
Among them, the 256GB capacity version is the most popular because it well meets the usage needs of the majority of users, Burgundy Red is the color that receives the most pre-orders.
Sharing with Lao Dong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hong, E-commerce Director of 24hStore retail system, expects iPhone 18 Pro Max to be the best-selling product line in this year's new iPhone season, especially high capacity and Burgundy Red versions. Meanwhile, iPhone 18 Pro is suitable for customers who want to experience high-end but optimize budget.
