At 7 pm on September 12, retail systems in Vietnam simultaneously opened a pre-order program for iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
According to recorded data after about 30 minutes, The Gioi Di Dong and Dien May Xanh had about 179,405 customers pre-registered, of which 165,162 customers had completed deposits.
This figure shows that the number of people interested in Apple's new high-end iPhone duo is quite large right in the early pre-order period. However, this is data recorded at the The Gioi Di Dong and Dien May Xanh systems, not reflecting the entire market.
Meanwhile, Di Dong Viet recorded about 612 customers who deposited iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in the same period. According to records, the number of pre-orders is still continuously increasing.
Apple has not yet announced the number of pre-orders or the number of depositors in Vietnam.

In Vietnam, iPhone 18 Pro has a starting price of 38.999 million VND, while iPhone 18 Pro Max is from 41.999 million VND.
Both models have memory versions of 256 GB, 512 GB, 1TB and 2TB. The two models come in black, silver, light blue and dark red.
iPhone 18 Pro has a 6.3-inch screen, while iPhone 18 Pro Max has a 6.9-inch screen. Both use Super Retina XDR screens with ProMotion and the Always On screen feature.
One of the notable upgrades lies in the 48 MP Fusion main camera with the ability to adjust the aperture. This is the first time Apple has brought the aperture control feature to the iPhone, allowing users to actively adjust the amount of light and depth of field when shooting.
The duo is also equipped with the A20 Pro chip, manufactured on a 2 nm process. Apple said the new chip has a memory bandwidth 50% higher than the A19 Pro, along with improvements in CPU, GPU and AI task processing capabilities.
Regarding the battery, Apple said that iPhone 18 Pro can reach a maximum of 36 hours of video playback, while iPhone 18 Pro Max can reach up to 45 hours. The two models also support fast charging, which can reach 50% battery in about 15 minutes in suitable conditions.
