Google sets big goals for the Gemini app

Google is stepping up promotion of the Gemini app, targeting 500 million monthly users in 2025.

Google is stepping up efforts to boost the number of Gemini app users, with ads onods to encourage downloads.

This is considered the company's biggest priority in 2025.

For about a week now, many users have seen Google Geminis ads appear on theodsets they follow.

These ads focus on introducing Gemini Live features, with some content simulating conversations between host and Gemini Live.

Previously, Sundar Pichai - CEO of Google - affirmed that "Expanding Gemini to consumers will be our biggest focus next year".

Google aims to make Gemini the next leading app to reach 500 million monthly users. Currently, the company has 15 applications that have reached this milestone, of which 7 applications have over 2 billion users.

Earlier this week, Google improved the Gemini homepage interface on iOS, allowing the keyboard to automatically open right at launch, allowing users to quickly enter commands.

Since November last year, Google has stepped up advertising of this application on Apple's App Store. In addition, Gemini could soon appear in the Apple Intelligence ecosystem, opening up more opportunities to reach new users and increase downloads.
