Revealing when Apple Vision Pro may launch a lighter version

Leaked sources have just announced when a lighter version of Apple Vision Pro may appear.

Apple is preparing to launch a new, lighter version of Apple Vision Pro, expected in late 2025 or the first half of 2026, according to leaked sources. This move is aimed at boosting device sales as Vision Pro has yet to meet initial expectations.

According to Bloomberg author Mark Gurman, Apple is developing two successor versions to Vision Pro. One model will be lighter and cheaper than the current one, while the other will be a wired version, directly connected to the Mac to optimize processing performance.

Gurman said the lighter model will be prioritized for launch first. However, it is still unclear whether this will be a replacement for Vision Pro or just a shortened version for general users.

Information about Apple developing a lighter Vision model has recently appeared. Accordingly, the new model could be called " Apple Vision" or " Apple Vision Air".

Apple is expected to switch from aluminum to titanium for the interior to reduce weight while still keeping the exterior case made of aluminum.

In addition, the design can have a dark black tone, reminiscent of the iPhone 5 era, to clearly distinguish between the Pro and non-Pro lines.
