The latest leaks say the Samsung Galaxy S21 will be available in three versions: S21 (6.2 inches), S21 Plus (6.7 inches) and S21 Ultra (6.8 inches). The Ultra model will be designed with better specifications and cameras, similar to the 2020 version, in addition to a curved screen and Samsung's S- Pen Pen Pen support.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy S21's camera is largely similar to what we have seen on the Galaxy S20, but with some important upgrades for the top model.
The Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus will once again have 3 cameras at the back, with an extremely wide 12MP sensor, a 12MP main sensor and a 64MP telephoto lens. The top-notch Galaxy S21 Ultra will have a second-generation version of the 108MP sensor found in the S21 Ultra and Note 21 Ultra, with a new 3x optical tele sensor and a 10x optical "super" tele sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 is said to be 151.70 x 71.20 x 7.90mm (high x wide x thick) and weigh 171 grams, and is dust and waterproof according to IP68 standards.
According to previous practices, Samsung will use two different chipsets to provide capabilities for the Galaxy S21 - the latest Snapdragon 8 Series system chip for phones released in the US and one of the Exynos processors manufactured by Samsung itself for factory models in the rest of the world.
In the US, the Galaxy S21 will be equipped with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 888. This is the first chip to operate on the 5nm process, including a main Kryo 680 implement with a speed of 2.84GHz and based on ARM's latest Cortex-X1 core technology at the moment. This is accompanied by three large secondary cortex-A78 pulses of 2.4 GHz and four small cortex-A55 1.8GHz. According to Qualcomm, this processor is 25% more efficient than its predecessor Snapdragon 865, especially in tasks that require advanced computing performance.
In addition, the Adreno GPU in Snapdragon 888 is also expected to increase graphics performance by up to 35%.
Samsung's next processor is the Exynos 2100, and it will be another 5nm chip. The chip was initially thought to be the Exynos 1000 and could come with AMD's graphics accelerator.
Each Galaxy S21 model is expected to have 128GB of storage in the basic configuration, with the option to upgrade to 256GB (there may be an option of 512GB with the S21 Ultra) and no microSD flash memory Slot.
