However, a major limitation is that the "AI creator" label is completely voluntary. This means that many users will still encounter AI content that is only labeled vaguely, or even without any label.
However, Meta still encourages creators to regularly post AI content using new features, believing that this helps build trust with viewers.
In the context of AI content becoming increasingly popular and difficult to recognize with the naked eye, this approach may just be the beginning and Instagram is likely to have to continue to adjust its labeling policy in the near future.
