According to analyst Mark Gurman's revelation, the update is said to bring deeper customization capabilities, targeting both general users and professional photographers.
The biggest change lies in the Camera interface. Instead of just using Apple's default layout, users can customize function buttons according to their needs. Utilities such as resolution, flash or Live Photos can be changed and rearranged.
The Camera application is also supplemented with advanced settings such as depth of field control, exposure. Apple also adds a bracket, balancer when taking photos and moves the area displaying all tools down near the shooting button for more convenient operation.
Not only changing the interface, Apple is also said to be integrating more AI features into the camera. Instead of having to access Visual Intelligence separately, users can use a new Siri mode right in the Camera application to search for images, translate text or activate AI features related to images. AI is also said to support new photo editing tools.
The changes show that Apple wants to turn the iPhone into a more flexible photography tool, instead of just focusing on the simple interface as before. If leaked information becomes reality, iOS 27 may be one of Apple's biggest updates in recent years.
