On the morning of September 19, major systems in Vietnam simultaneously opened iPhone 17 and iPhone Air for pre-orders. At TopZone, they set a record with nearly 100,000 deposits in just the first 24 hours, far surpassing last year's record for iPhone 16 sales.
On the morning of September 19, all over the system's stores nationwide, TopZone delivered thousands of iPhone 17s to customers. In addition to customers who pre-ordered, TopZone also opened 300 more iPhone 17 ProMax space orange purchases for lucky customers participating in the event by random draw.
The CellphoneS system also recorded tens of thousands of orders to buy iPhone 17 and iPhone Air. It is expected that on the first day of opening for sale on September 19, more than 150 stores of the system will deliver more than 20,000 units to customers, a significant increase compared to last year.
Similarly, at the FPT Shop system, on the first day of opening for sale, the system delivered a large quantity of iPhone 17 and iPhone Air to customers and continued to record many new deposits, showing the strong attraction of the new generation of iPhone in the Vietnamese market.
Mr. Phan Tran Thanh - Deputy Director of Apple products, FPT Shop and F.Studio by FPT systems shared: "This year, iPhone 17 and iPhone Air have truly created a fever in the technology-loving community. Compared to the same period last year, the number of customers interested in and depositing at FPT Shop and F.Studio by FPT has increased impressively, especially in outstanding versions such as iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone Air super thin".
At Minh Tuan Mobile system, as of September 18, they have received 18,000 pre-orders for iPhone 17 and iPhone Air after 1 week of opening orders, nearly 12% higher than the pre-orders of last year's iPhone 16 Series. This year, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is still the focus of attention, accounting for a large proportion of orders.
Of which, the 256GB version and the new color of space orange are the most popular. Notably, the iPhone Air version recorded a fairly high ordering rate among young customers of Gen Z. On the morning of September 19, the system delivered thousands of devices to customers.
