From "answering for a job" to the desire to create opportunities
Voices of Galaxy is a series of short films produced by Samsung, aiming to honor the simple stories of young Vietnamese people "strengthening themselves with Vietnam" from personal efforts in their journey of self-development. In the opening episode, the main character is Vy - a new bachelor, facing the fear of finding a job in a competitive market. The job application was rejected many times, the girl fell into a deadlock until she decided to change her approach, use Galaxy AI and Gemini Live to review and renew her CV, exploit her personal strengths and try her hand at a self- introduce video. That moment not only helped her overcome obstacles, but also opened a message for an entire generation: in the AI era, opportunities do not come naturally, but need to be created by each person.

The current context of the Vietnamese labor market shows that this is not a wasteful message. According to statistics from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, in the first quarter of 2024, there were more than 70,000 applications for unemployment benefits, of which the proportion of bachelors and young workers accounted for the majority. Many businesses also frankly share that they do not just look for "good" people, but prioritize candidates who are proactive, ready to adapt and work in groups. The imbalance between qualifications and adaptive capacity makes many young people, even with a university degree, still struggle in the early stages of their career.
Invisible skills - the decisive factor in the midst of toolbars
The explosion of AI has given new graduates more powerful tools than ever: from editing CVs, forging interviews, predicting career trends, to building personal portfolios. However, toolkits are not necessarily synonymous with easy to find a job. Many final year students said they still feel "lacking confidence" when entering the labor market, even though they have tried using many supporting platforms. This shows that the nature of the job search process still depends on skills that AI cannot replace: Reasoning ability, creativity, personal storytelling, and progressive attitude.
reality also proves that if you only rely on AI, candidates can easily become obscure. A human resources expert once commented, "there are CVs that are written too smoothly to the point of being the same", and that is the sign that employers recognize machine intervention. What stops them is not the perfect application, but the reality, their own personality and how candidates prove that they can create new value for businesses.
AI is a companion, not a controller
In the process of creating job opportunities, AI needs to be properly recognized for its role. It can be a smart companion, helping to speed up and reduce errors, but the leadership is still in the hands of candidates. A report noted that more and more students are using AI to prepare for interviews. However, successful people are not those who learn the AI-suggested answer, but those who know how to adjust it, turning it into their own language.
Vy's story in Voices of Galaxy clearly illustrates that. Galaxy AI did not replace the girl in applying for a job, but only gave her suggestions to reshape her own journey. It was the decision to make a video introducing herself, daring to try something different from the traditional way of wearing that was the turning point that helped her impress. This message is suitable for the broader context: AI is only truly valuable when young people proactively use it to express their own personality and aspirations, rather than let it replace everything.

Strengthening from small actions to generational strength
The issue is: how can new bachelors start creating opportunities for themselves? The answer does not lie in drastic steps, but comes from small, persistent actions. Building a portfolio with real projects, participating in volunteer or freelance work to accumulate experience, creating a personal brand, all of which are the foundation bricks. When there is a personal foundation, AI will be a powerful tool for amplification and improvement.
From a broader perspective, that spirit is also what the Voices of Galaxy campaign wants to convey. Every young person who knows how to create opportunities not only helps themselves escape the situation of waiting for work, but also contributes to forming a new generation: proactive, courageous and knows how to take advantage of technology to accompany aspirations. That is the way to make the message "swing up with Vietnam" come true, not thanks to a few outstanding individuals, but thanks to millions of young people who dare to start with small actions.
Continuing the story of "Honoring Vietnamese Values" conveyed in the first half of 2025, Samsung goes further in urging practical actions, empowering unusually silent efforts to raise their voices, inspiring each individual to rise up through the Voices of Galaxy campaign.
