From public administrative points to alleys of houses
At the public administrative service point in Tuong Mai ward, the working atmosphere is always bustling and urgent. People come to do procedures, along with full-time staff, always accompanied by young volunteers. This is part of the plan to implement a 45-day and night campaign to support digital transformation of the ward.
Discussing the campaign, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Lan - Head of the Department of Culture and Society of Tuong Mai Ward said that in order to effectively implement the resolutions of superiors on technology development and innovation, the ward has quickly taken action.
"The Department of Culture and Society has advised the Ward People's Committee to develop a plan and implement a 45-day and night campaign to support community digital transformation in the area," Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Lan shared.

To realize the goal, the ward has established and reinforced 74 community digital transformation groups in residential areas and residential groups, and organized training for more than 500 core members. This force is not only on duty at public administrative service points but also deployed to cultural houses and meeting houses in residential areas.
In particular, in cases where people have difficulty accessing, groups will come to their homes to support the installation and guidance for people to grasp digital transformation services. Despite its large area and large population, the campaign has achieved encouraging results, with more than 70% of households having access. The ward aims to exceed the plan, ensuring that 100% of households have access to new technology before September 30.
Youth in the process of "eliminating the blind" of technology
The core force in this campaign is youth union members. With youth, technological awareness and enthusiasm, they have become soldiers on the front of "erasing the blind" of technology.
Mr. Vu An Nguyen, Secretary of the Youth Union in a residential area of Tuong Mai ward, could not hide his joy when participating in supporting the people: I feel very happy to be able to contribute a part to help the campaign succeed. Aiming for the goal of each resident of Tuong Mai ward to be a citizen of the digital capital in the period of integration and development.
Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Thu Minh, another youth union member, shared: As young people, we are knowledgeable about technology on phones and applications. Therefore, we can easily install and submit documents online to people, supporting people to submit documents faster. Especially the elderly who have difficulty in using digital technology today.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Lan, if in the past, the "ternational education" was learning to read and write, now, people have access to more modern and practical information technology. Instead of having to travel many times with complicated documents, people can now carry out public administrative procedures, using applications like iHanoi right at home. This not only reduces pressure on administrative agencies but also saves a lot of time and effort for the people, creating an effective and close government model.
