As part of the partnership, Microsoft will become an official cloud and AI (artificial intelligence) partner for Premier League digital platforms, modernizing digital infrastructure, match analytics and tournament organization activities.
The focus of this partnership is new digital platforms for Premier League fans, taking advantage of Microsoft's cloud and AI technology to open a new era of smart and intuitive experiences for fans.

This highly personalized experience takes advantage of Azure OpenAI to collect information from more than 30 statistical seasons, 300,000 articles and 9,000 videos, opening a completely new world of events and fans' data about the clubs and players they are most interested in.
The Premier League Companion is available on the Premier League's new official mobile app and web platform and will be upgraded throughout the upcoming Premier League season. The additional feature will include open-ended questions and answers in the native language of fans through text and audio translations.
At the end of the season, Microsoft AI will also be included in the enhanced Fantasy Premier League experience on the application and website, giving each fan a personal management assistant to help them lead their Fantasy team to victory.
