Recently, Evan Blass - a source specializing in leaking information about Apple - revealed source code references related to some upcoming Apple devices: iPad Air with M3 chip (11 inches); iPad Air with M3 chip (13 inches); 11th generation iPad; 4th generation iPhone SE.
In a follow-up post, Blass shared images that are said to illustrate the four devices in question, showing the FaceTime call interface on each device.
Based on this image, the iPhone SE model seems to be equipped with Dynamic Island instead of the familiar rabbit ear design like previous versions.
Dynamic Island is a dynamic interactive area located at the top of the iPhone screen, replacing the traditional “notch” which is “pill-shaped” in its default state.
If Dynamic Island does indeed appear on the iPhone SE 4, this will be an important strategic move by Apple to upgrade the iPhone SE line, making it a worthy choice in the mid-range segment.
Bringing premium features like Dynamic Island from more expensive iPhone lines not only attracts new users but also reinforces the uniformity of Apple's product ecosystem.
This also means that the difference between the iPhone SE 4 and the high-end iPhone 16 model will become less noticeable.
Both devices are expected to use the A18 chip, 8GB RAM, support Apple Intelligence, USB-C port and may have a 48MP main camera. However, the iPhone 16 also has an Ultra Wide camera, giving it an advantage in terms of shooting angle.
