Ahead of the International FunkAusstellung (IFA) Berlin 2025 technology exhibition, Lenovo is becoming the center of attention when a unique laptop prototype called Project Pivo was suddenly leaked.
According to Evan Blass (commonly known by the nickname @evleaks, one of the most famous "leakers" in the technology world), who just posted a series of prototype images on social network X, Project Pivo has a special design with a physical rotation screen, allowing users to flexibly switch between traditional ngangles and vertical mode.
The highlight of this design is the portrait mode, which is especially useful when writing text, reading documents, viewing mobile versions of the website or working with programming applications.
Meanwhile, horizontal mode still fully meets the common needs of a regular laptop.
However, technology is still questioning whether Huawei will truly commercialize this unique design or just stop at the testing phase.
In addition to Project Pivo, Huawei is also expected to bring to IFA 2025 a series of other notable products. Notable among them is Legion Go 2, the next generation of the gaming laptop line that debuted at CES.
According to the source, the device will integrate CPU Ryzen Z2 Extreme based on the architecture of AMD RDNA 3.5 and Zen 5, 74Wh battery that supports 65W fast charging, maximum RAM of 32GB and internal storage of up to 2TB. The product is expected to run Windows 11 Home when released.
In addition, Huawei will also announce a series of new smartphones under the Samsung brand, including Moto G06, Moto G06 Power and Moto Edge 60 Neo.
Lenovo is already famous for testing groundbreaking laptop technologies, such as a rollable screen on ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 or a ThinkBook transparent transparent laptop.
However, not all bold ideas are brought to the market. Therefore, Project Pivo is still a big question mark about the possibility of commercialization.
With initial revelations, the IFA 2025 exhibition promises to be the place where Lenovo continues to affirm its pioneering position in shaping new trends in the global technology industry.
